I can tell you this. . .Satan is a liar. And one of the greatest lies that he has infiltrated the Church with is: small thinking—that we are somehow being holy or humble by thinking small and expecting small.

GOD WANTS YOU TO APPROACH HIM WITH BOLDNESS AND BREAKTHROUGH EXPECTATION!!!

Hebrews 10:35 says, “Don’t throw away your confidence, which has GREAT reward!”

Hebrews 4:16 says that we can “Come BOLDLY to the throne of grace to obtain mercy & find grace to help in our time of need.”

God is trying to get this through to us: He wants us to go boldly to Him; ask BIG; Think BIG; and expect GREAT things from Him.

Our Heavenly Father is BIGGER and MORE POWERFUL than anything we are up against. We need to see God that way; and go to Him with that mindset! That’s when miracles happen. Miracles happen in an atmosphere or soil of EXPECTATION.

EXPECTATION is the difference between failure and success, blessing or burden, abundance or lack, even sickness or health. In fact, expectation is the secret ingredient behind every great miracle in the Bible!

EVERY MIRACLE IN THE BIBLE CAN BE TRACED TO A SEED OF EXPECTATION, BUT SMALL EXPECTATIONS ARE A STRONGHOLD THE DEVIL USES TO STEAL FROM YOU AND ROB YOU OF GOD’S BEST!

Friend, don’t limit God in your life! Instead release your faith with BREAKTHROUGH EXPECTATION! Remember what God says in Ephesians 3:20: He is able to do exceedingly abundantly ABOVE and BEYOND all that you can ask or think, according to the power at work within you!

What is that power at work within us? THE POWER OF EXPECTATION!

So, never underestimate the power of expectation. Expect God’ to strengthen you; expect to be led by His Spirit today and be willing to believe for big things.

David said, “I would have despaired UNLESS I BELIEVED that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13).

You see? God doesn’t want you to define your life by your present circumstances – this world will try to confine you and box you in until you feel hopeless. But God wants to take the limits off and open doors that you’ve never seen opened before! IT’S YOUR TIME!

But you’ve got to raise your expectations and ask for the things that are on your heart.

What do you need God to do in your life today? God’s power is present to do it, and I find it interesting God’s power was always present wherever He was teaching, because God’s Word carries within itself the DNA of your healing, financial blessing, your breakthrough and your miracle!

“And while He was teaching…the power of the Lord was PRESENT…” Luke 5:17

God’s power is present to change your life right now!

So, take the limits off and believe that God can do the impossible in your life! Ask God for everything and then when you are done asking Him for everything, ask Him for more!

God loves to bless those who will approach Him with expectancy. Is that greedy? Is that selfish? NO! It’s God’s will for you right now!
