Living Beyond the Walls

I don’t have a complicated message: I want to encourage people with the good news of God’s unconditional love—and to see that reality change their thinking and their emotions.
Living Beyond the Walls

Are You Ready to Live Beyond the WALL?

Joseph’s life as described in Genesis chapter 49 is a case study with regards to how he broke barriers in his life. How he lived beyond the walls of his life. And his example can inspire hope in your life today.

You are going to live beyond the walls that have tried to contain you. That includes living beyond the invisible fences that have tried to control you, beyond the walls of fear, beyond the walls of hatred, beyond the walls of envy, beyond the walls of your upbringing.

You can choose to let what your circumstances or other people have done to you imprison you behind those walls or you could decide to be like Joseph whose branches reached over the walls and he was no longer contained by the invisible fences or the visible fences in his life.

Listen, there are visible fences and then there are invisible fences in your life. God has not called you to be contained by any of them, nor has He called you to be limited by any of them.

You have to make a decision today. Are you going to live behind the walls of your past , the walls of your pain, the walls of what people have done to you? You have to leave behind the victim mentality. You are not a victim of anything. You’re only a victim if you believe you are confined to stay that way the rest of your life. You are called to live beyond that pain, beyond what that person did to you, beyond what life has brought you.

Now go back to verse 22 of Genesis 49 and notice what he says. “Joseph’s branches reached over the wall.” One reason why Joseph lived beyond the wall is because what he says, “A fruitful vine by a well.” If you want to live beyond the wall you have to live by the well.

The well is God’s word. The well is the Holy Spirit. The well is the church. The well is God’s promises. If you will stay by the well, which is the church, the word, the Holy Spirit, and God’s promises – then you are going to reach over the wall.

When you begin Living beyond the Walls, you will come to understand why you should expect God’s favor to manifest uncommon blessings in your life.
