Religion “Vandalizes” the Beauty of Jesus

I don’t have a complicated message: I want to encourage people with the good news of God’s unconditional love—and to see that reality change their thinking and their emotions.
The gospel is simple. There's nothing more to it than a perfect picture of God's beauty and love. Religion packs on rules and laws to a very simple gospel. It vandalizes perfection and robs us of experiencing the simple beauty of Jesus. Strip all that away and take in His true image: Pure grace. Pure love.
