This world is in a crisis. People are struggling everywhere. They’re struggling with financial problems. They’re struggling with emotional issues. They’re struggling with family situations. They’re struggling with physical sickness and disease. Maybe you are going through a tremendous struggle of your own and you are wondering why life is so hard and what can be done to stop the stress.
All of us were born under a curse; the curse of sin that entered the world in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. That is why life is so hard, but God sent His Son Jesus to free us from the curse of the law.
The curse is the empowerment to fail. When you’re cursed, you’ll be at the bottom and not at the top. But the blessing is the empowerment to succeed. You are the head and not the tail! You are redeemed from the curse! You don’t have to live under it anymore! The devil has deluded us and the world has deluded us into thinking that we have to struggle under this curse. NO! Jesus paid the price for your freedom! The curse has been broken and has no power over you!
You don’t have to sacrifice to be forgiven. You don’t have to strive and struggle. This life wasn’t meant to be a burden to bear. This life was meant to be a celebration! Jesus bore the burden so we can celebrate and rejoice! God wants you to have a happy, rejoicing, flourishing life. He wants you to be the envy of the world!
This inexplainable and unstoppable joy comes from this one thing: knowing that the curse is broken and Jesus paid it all!
