As we finish this year strong, I have ONE Word from God for you…
RESTORE!
After almost two full years of pandemics, shutdowns, and bad news from so many directions, it’s time for us to GET OUR STUFF BACK! The devil has robbed you and God’s people long enough. Isaiah 42:22 says: these people are robbed continually, and no one says: RESTORE!
But Jesus is the Lord of restoration! No matter what the enemy has stolen from you, God has promised He will restore it all!
Remember, the Bible says in Acts 10:38 that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power in His earthly ministry. He went about doing good and healing everyone oppressed by the devil. But Hebrews 13:8 also says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” He is doing good and healing everyone oppressed by the devil today, just like He has always done!
To be oppressed means that somebody or something else is in control of your life, future, and destiny. When you feel controlled by life, finances, sickness, disease, or by any other human being, that’s oppression.
But Jesus grants us Divine restoration so we can determine our future. He also gives us the wisdom to control our emotions, choices, and attitudes. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
If we’re going to get our time back, our health back, our finances back, we must use the sword of the spirit—which is the word of God. The word of God is the wisdom of God. And the way we use this sword is by opening our mouth and declaring: RESTORE!
So many people are stressed out today, more anxious, and worried than
ever before.
The enemy has eaten, devoured, consumed, and destroyed so much. Jesus said in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Your Heavenly Father is the God of Restoration.
His promise is—
You are going to get it all back!
Let me point out four specific promises you can stand on to see YOUR SEASON OF RESTORATION.
- In Joel 2:25, God says, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”
We’ve all lost time. Perhaps you’ve lost years to illness, disease, or addiction. And what of the years we lost before we were believers—when we didn’t know Jesus—and we weren’t serving God? All of this time—the years—our God will restore.
- In Jeremiah 30:17, God promises: “’For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal,’ declares the Lord.”
Our physical health: people dealing with chronic illnesses; our mental health: people struggling with depression or anxiety; our wounds: those inflicted upon us by others and those self-inflicted—our God will heal and restore!
- Jeremiah 30:18 reads, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob.’”
Over the past few years, many have lost jobs, money, and their retirement funds through the pandemic. This promise of our God says the thief won’t have the final say. Our God will restore what you’ve lost and supply your every need.
- Psalm 23 declares: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.”
Our Great Shepherd holds not only our temporal needs but also our eternal ones in the palm of His loving hand. How is it that we can close our eyes at night and rest? How can we rise in the morning to face each new day?
Our Heavenly Father is the God of Restoration!
And He only needs us to SPEAK FORTH these promises. The universe and our angels are waiting for us to DECLARE the Word of God.
Impossible circumstances are NO MATCH for the possibilities of God! His Word is the miraculous passageway to experiencing restoration!
